| | so sadly today is the end of my three day weekend, and I'm spending all day doing homework : ( I'm trying really hard to catch up, but I have no idea how I am going to get the 7 overdue papers done it is just so overwhelming.
Speaking of overwhelming Tom and I are changing our wedding date to May 2009 because both of us have really felt like planning the wedding has been a huge burden, because we just don't have the time. I'm stuck in a wheelchair for a few more weeks and have been in it since July so I need help doing just about anything, and the most I can really do wedding wise is search online for cool ideas. Tom works almost 40 hours a week, and we are both full time students, so part of what is going to get us over arriving at May 30, 2008 and being sad we aren't married is that at least this way we will be able to have fun planning the wedding. We really wanted cake choices and of course Tom wanted to try different cakes, and we both really wanted to hear different DJs to make a decision, plus we haven't been able to save us much money as we would like, so having a full extra year will be a huge benefit. The main reason is of course I can't have my surgery during school, so it will have to be this summer, but hopefully towards the end of the summer we can do some major planning in KC, even though I'll still be in a wheelchair.
Has anyone else had to move their date? How did you or how do you think you will feel when the original date occurs? |
